Founded in 2008, this “inherently Floridian” brewery was one of the first craft breweries to make a home Gainesville. Swamphead takes pride in using top quality ingredients and sustainability efforts to brew exquisite beers. Their efforts began from a small warehouse brewery and grew to a full campus with a tasting room and outdoor space often hosting local food trucks and events. Swamphead is best known for its five signature brews – Wild Night, Cottonmouth, Stump Knocker, Midnight Oil and Big Nose IPA – however, they brewery has numerous limited edition beers, offered seasonally at their tasting room.
