Rachel Kerensky was born and raised in North Carolina and studied nursing at UNC Greensboro. She moved to Gainesville in 1992 with her husband, Rick, an Interventional Cardiologist, who was starting a new position at UF Health.
During the relocation process, the couple found that buying a home was a stressful and overwhelming ordeal.Thankfully, their Realtor® was Caroline Pooley, a Gainesville real estate legend. She not only helped them find a house, but taught Rachel everything she needed to know about being a new homeowner. With Caroline’s impact and the love Rachel developed for the Gainesville community, she was inspired to become a Realtor®.
Rachel learned through her experience as a nurse and a mother that the most important thing is to advocate for her patients and her children. She brings the same dedication and passion to her real estate career and strives to help all her clients, from first-time homebuyers to health professionals relocating to Gainesville. Rachel has a vast network of resources to assist you in buying or selling your home and to help you thrive in Gainesville.
In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys exercising, playing tennis and spending quality time with her husband, two children and friends. She is active in her community and is passionate about advocating for children and adults with special needs.
